Join executives, industry associations, thought leaders, and Chambers of Commerce as they converge at the Energy Forum this fall in Grande Prairie co-hosted by the Alberta Chambers of Commerce and Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce. This unique event is one of six 2023 Industry Forums that serve as a hub for in-depth discussion on pressing current issues & fostering collaboration to identify effective solutions. 

With business leaders consistently expressing appreciation for opportunities to directly connect with their government representatives, this forum aims to inform a shared vision for growing Alberta’s economy by bringing together key stakeholders to provide consultation on opportunities and challenges for the energy industry.

The forum itinerary includes sessions from 8:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. with lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. The event will conclude with a networking mixer from 2:45 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. The cost is $60 (please confirm by September 1).

Honouring Northwest Alberta’s Fallen - 80th Anniversary of the Italian Campaign

At Veterans Memorial Gardens, it is our privilege to share the beauty, tranquility and restorative powers of nature with families of the fallen, our local communities and visitors from places near and far.

The benefits of nature are a gift to all humanity, especially in troubled times. Respect for Military History, Service and Sacrifice is central for our Themed Gardens, Educational Programs and Special Events.

“Many fellow soldiers are missing this evening from our midst. They are our brothers and sisters who are unable to return to those whom they love, so we remember them”

These words of memorial, the Missing Soldier Table and Toast to Fallen Comrades are all part of a solemn and dignified tradition at formal dinners and occasions.

It holds a place at our table for all who fell in service to our country and are not forgotten. 55 sons of Grande Prairie and Region were Killed In Action during the Italian Campaign.

Our September 9th Dinner and Dance to Commemorate the 80th Anniversary of their sacrifice will have 55 tables, one devoted to the memory of each of our own.
