March 16, 2020
Greetings,

With the everchanging world due to COVID-19, we want to make sure we are keeping our members as updated as possible.  We Are All In This TOGETHER is a phrase that will be repeated over and over in the coming days and months ahead. We are deeply concerned about the economic impact all this will have on our region. The Chamber will be a resource and advocate for you to support you with what you need to be successful during this time of uncertainty. We are working to share resources and keep members engaged as we all deal with this situation.

It could not be more true than at this moment in time and as a Chamber Family that We Are All In This TOGETHER .

Support Local
Please support other Chamber Members during this time. You can purchase gift cards from Chamber Members to use at a later date or pick-up a To Go or Delivery Order from our restaurant members. The Chamber Directory is the best source to locate Chamber Member businesses and offer your support.

Upcoming Webinar - Chamber Support Group

Here to support YOU! We have set-up a Member Chamber Support Group Webinar for Friday, March 20 at noon. We want our members to know that you are not alone as you deal with the impact of COVID-19 from all of the information and thinking about the impacts on each of your businesses. The webinar will give members a place to run ideas by each other, come up with solutions, listen to other's needs and have a place that we can all talk through fears and just support one another. This webinar will also give us an opportunity to share any updated information about Chamber related activities, information from the SBA, etc. The Chamber Support Group will be facilitated by Tammi Wallace, Co-Founder & Board Chair and Jessica Eiseman, MS, LPC-S, NCC, Owner & Clinical Director with Chamber Member, Ajana Therapy & Clinical Services.
SBA - Economic Injury Declaration Program

We are working with the SBA on a webinar related to the Economic Injury Declaration Program. Please see the most recent SBA Guidelines document on the Chamber Resource Page .

Further, we are working with other Chamber Members and Partners on various webinars to support our members during this time.

Going Forward...

We will be collecting information from our members on what you need right now so that we can provide resources to match those needs. (keep an eye out for a survey link)

Work with our local government (City and County), our strategic partners & other local chambers to pool resources and work as a team to provide help.

Encourage people to Shop Local to keep the economy moving.

Share updates on closures, and cancellations while also reminding people that our members are still open for business.

Please continue to follow trusted news sources for updates such as the City of Houston Health Department . Our Executive Administrators are now working from home. Please be patient during this time as we work to follow-up on any requests.

We Are All In This TOGETHER and we are here to support our members. Thank you for your continued support of the Chamber.
