LIVE MUSIC UNDER THE STARS" this Saturday April 13th after the Clarksville Lake Country Wine Festival from 6-9pm on the Patio with the Brian Graham Band. This band has been playing together for the last 15 years and performs a mix of Blues, Reggae, and good old Rock & Roll. Call to reserve your table at 434-374-2866 and just walk on down after the festival! The wisteria just bloomed and the patio is absolutely beautiful and ready for you to sit and sip, listen to great music, and enjoy a delicious dinner!

Don't forget we will also have "The Coop" Food Truck downtown at the Festival from noon - 5pm. We will be on the corner of The Delicate Flower so if you aren't attending the festival remember you can still get LUNCH TO GO from "The Coop."

Clarksville Community Players is proud to announce an Art Exhibition of the Lake Country Artisans Guild work Sunday, April 14 from 3-5:00pm at the Fine Arts Center, 914 Virginia Ave., Clarksville, VA. Please come peruse the art, talk to the artists and purchase something for your home or a friend! Part of the proceeds benefit our final phase of the Capital Campaign to finish the renovation of the theatre! Light refreshments served.

As a part of Child Abuse Awareness Month, during April 15-19, the Mecklenburg County YMCA will participate in the Five Days of Action campaign to increase awareness of child sexual abuse and how all adults can prevent it when we “Know. Clarksville Community Players

BRIGHT STAR opens April 20, 26, and 27th at 7:00pm, and April 21 and 28th at 2:30pm. Tickets are available online now for $20. Colonial Center for Performing Arts

Auditions for the full length version of this play will be held April 21st @ 2:30 PM and April 22nd @ 6 PM. This is a L.Y.N.X. play for our area's youth! Ages 8 and up! 21 parts available , 4-8 F and 13-17 M roles are listed! Show dates are June 22 & 23, 29th & 30th.

Clarksville Quilting & Crafting Retreat April 21st-Monthly open sew/crafting day, 10:00 thru 2:00.

We provide the space at our second floor retreat, beverages and snacks. You bring your machine (or rent for $5), supplies (no need to bring irons, mats or rulers though), projects to work on and lunch. April is “Birthday Celebration Month” and the cost will be $10 for the first person and $5 for the second person.

We have a wide array of games, puzzles and books to choose from. At night, pull up a chair for some great star gazing. 


Perhaps you’re looking to spend some time crafting, scrapbooking or sewing with friends. Our other option with AirBnB is the second floor retreat (75x15) space. There are 8 tables in the crafting area. In the refreshment area there is seating for 10, with a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. We offer flexible daily and overnight rental options on this space.

April 30-May 5th-In collaboration with local Clarksville restaurants and businesses, Chef Lemar Farrington of Amalie(a) is hosting the 2nd annual Clarksville Restaurant week from April 30th - May 5th!

Restaurant week will feature unique prix fixe menus and item specials at local restaurants in addition to fun events including an Oyster Roast at Woodbine Vineyards and a Sunday Funday Brunch Boards & Bubbles at Cooper's Landing Inn & Traveler's Tavern!

Events will also be held by local businesses including Buggs Island Brewing Company LLC, Rooted Cafe, The Cottage Barn, Bridgewater Bar and Grill, Tee Box, Blue Heron Deli, and more! Please be on the lookout for a complete list of participating restaurants and menus to come.

Melissa, with MO’s Charcuterie, is back at Woodbine for a fun, Mother’s Day themed workshop!

Participants will learn basic salami folding, as well as tips and tricks for creating the perfect charcuterie board. Once you’ve completed your board, spend the afternoon enjoying your creation at the winery! You don’t have to be a mom, this class is for anyone and everyone, so gather a group and sign up today!!!

Back In January-Every Third Thursday of the Month -VFW Post 8163 monthly Fish Fry and BBQ - All you can eat fried fish and pulled pork BBQ. Rooted Cafe

Beginning in March we will be open 1 hour later on Mondays to host a family and friends table top game night This is a free community event and all are welcome games are available to play from our library or you can bring your own. Drip coffee will also be half off during this time

Every Tuesday from 4pm-5pm come sit at our table with Clarksville’s own published author of over 10 novels, James Willis Sanders. He will provide insight and discussion about personal literary works and the processes that go into writing them.
