IMPORTANT ADDITIONS to LAKEFEST THIS WEEKEND

PLEASE Note: Friday 2nd to 3rd Street on Virginia Ave will close at 10 am for Ferris wheel set up

3rd to 7th Street will close at Noon! The bridge will not be closed until 4 am on Saturday

Over 70 vendors will be setting up and ready by 4pm.

Woodbine Vineyards, BIB & Sandy River distillery will start serving at 6 pm

Opening ceremonies at 7 pm, Band at 7:20 pm

Virginia Avenue Mall

We're going to be hosting our open bluegrass jam sessions on the stage at the Virginia Avenue Mall twice a month for the next couple of months to see what happens. As always, these jams are open to players of acoustic instruments at all skill levels. We just ask that you know the basic chords and are able to play in time with others. Park in the front on the street side of the mall.

The dates and times for the next 4 sessions are:

Sunday July 21 from 1 to 4

Friday August 2 from 5 to 8

Sunday August 11 from 1 to 4

Friday September 14 from 5 to 8

Fish Fry Thursday, July 18th, 5 pm to 7 pm Clarksville VFW

Whiting Fish, BBQ, cole slaw, beans, hush puppies and desserts. $10.

Reoccurring Events

Back In January-Every Third Thursday of the Month -VFW Post 8163 monthly Fish Fry and BBQ - All you can eat fried fish and pulled pork BBQ. Includes baked beans, hush puppies, slaw, desserts, and drinks. 5 pm to 7 pm. The cost is $10.00 per person. Eat-in or carry out. 7488 Highway 15. Clarksville, VA.

Rooted Cafe

Beginning in March we will be open 1 hour later on Mondays to host a family and friends table top game night This is a free community event and all are welcome games are available to play from our library or you can bring your own. Drip coffee will also be half off during this time

Southside Behavioral Health's Prevention Services is offering FREE, virtual REVIVE! training!

Clarksville Quilting & Crafting Retreat -Monthly open sew/crafting day, 10:00 thru 2:00.

We provide the space at our second floor retreat, beverages and snacks. You bring your machine (or rent for $5), supplies (no need to bring irons, mats or rulers though), projects to work on and lunch. April is “Birthday Celebration Month” and the cost will be $10 for the first person and $5 for the second person.

Contact us 434-414-1470 to reserve your spot by Friday, March 28th (due to set up, we are unable to accommodate walk ins). Payment is made day of event and limited to 8 who wish to sew and 4 who will be doing hand crafts.

Nestled in the woods, located 1 1/2 miles from Bluestone boat launch and 3 miles from downtown, come for a much needed break. Guests take the opportunity to relax on the front porch and back decks with the morning coffee and evening beverages. Dining room seats 8 and kitchen seats 6. We have a wide array of games, puzzles and books to choose from. At night, pull up a chair for some great star gazing. 


Perhaps you’re looking to spend some time crafting, scrapbooking or sewing with friends. Our other option with AirBnB is the second floor retreat (75x15) space. There are 8 tables in the crafting area. In the refreshment area there is seating for 10, with a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. We offer flexible daily and overnight rental options on this space.
