Volunteers Needed for the Okie Noodling Tournament
Join us on June 14 and 15 for the thrill of the Okie Noodling Tournament, a highlight event that brings excitement and business to our city!

We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help with:
  • Setting up vendor locations: Be the first point of contact for our amazing vendors and assist them in setting up their spots for the event.
  • Staffing the information booth: Provide visitors with information and help them navigate the festivities.
  • Assisting with contests: Support the Chamber in overseeing the various contests that are the heart of the tournament.
  • Signing up people for the demo tank exhibit: Help in collecting contributions and managing the operations at this popular attraction.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a community tradition, meet new people, and have fun while making a difference. Your support is crucial in making this event a success!

If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact us. Let’s make this year’s Okie Noodling Tournament the best one yet!

Backroad Spirits in the Spotlight
“Good selection” is one priority that all customers want, and they aren’t disappointed at Pauls Valley’s Backroad Spirits.

There’s something for every taste among the rows of shelves of wine, beer and distilled spirits making up this 2,300-square-foot store. And owner Jason Bean says product changes happen every week!

“We have a large walk-in wine room, a large walk-in beer cave and the best selection of cigars in town,” he said. “We pride ourselves in having the best selection in Garvin County and if we don’t have it, we will get it.”

This attention to quality makes the store a great destination for both connoisseurs and casual shoppers alike.

All Chamber members are welcome to attend our monthly Chamber Coffee Connections held each month on a Friday morning from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. The next one is Friday, May 24, and is hosted by Burford Corp. and held at the Pauls Valley Chamber office.

If you would like to host a Coffee Connection, contact president@paulsvalleychamber.com. It costs nothing to host, you just have to provide coffee and pastries or fruit. This is a great opportunity to introduce community members to your business and highlight any upcoming events. The Chamber takes care of advertising for all Coffee Connections

The second gathering of Coffee Connections in April was a success. Our host was Brandy Wright of The Valley Mercantile Boutique & Gifts, who opened up The Petroleum Room to show off this special space, also available for event rental.
Participants at April's Coffee Connections enjoyed the java as well as other special treats.
