Legislature's Special Session on Crime Ends, Bills Approved
Last week the Louisiana legislature concluded a two-week special session to address one of the state's most pressing issues—crime. A number of tough-on-crime policies were passed by lawmakers which now go to Gov. Landry to be signed into law or vetoed. Click here to learn more.
Five Candidates Running for Three Mandeville City Council Seats
Mandeville voters will go to the polls March 23 to decide who will hold three of the City Council’s five seats--the District II seat and two at-large seats. District III's incumbent is unopposed, and District I will be represented by a newcomer who drew no challengers.
