The Saints 2023 Season is almost here, so join us at the annual Fan Up Luncheon, presented by the Silver Slipper Casino. Hear guest speaker Mike Detillier discuss the upcoming football season and great draft picks, and enjoy a delicious lunch provided by The Sadie Jane.

IDEAinstitute Northshore is an idea-stage accelerator program that introduces innovative entrepreneurs and potential startup founders to the tools they need to turn an idea into a scalable venture. The Fall 2023 Cohort will begin on September 5, and applications are now open until Friday, August 25.

Our colleagues at PAR (Public Affairs Research Council) will host a State Treasurer Candidate Forum during a webinar TOMORROW August 16 at 1:00 pm. The webinar will feature the three major candidates in the treasurer’s race: John Fleming, a Republican former congressman; Dustin Granger, a Democratic financial planner; and Scott McKnight, a Republican state representative. Louisiana ranks 41st in population growth using the latest census data, 47th in personal income growth and has the second highest poverty rate in the country. Reset Louisiana is promoting 55 recommendations to change those outcomes and move the state forward. They're hoping that voters will ask candidates the right questions concerning education, infrastructure and budget, among others.
