Nearly 40 of our current, incoming and outgoing board members gathered last week for an all-day strategic planning session, which was sponsored by AVALA, Blue Williams and Slidell Memorial Hospital. Facilitated by Dr. Christel Slaughter with SSA Consultants, attendees reviewed 2023 membership numbers, finances and all other accomplishments and then set their sights on 2024. After a 10,000-foot-view of where we are as a chamber, a parish and a region, our leadership set a number of strategic goals that are long-term and focused.
