Students Receive Chamber Scholarships Funded by Golf Tournament

Three St. Tammany high school seniors were awarded $1,000 scholarships funded with proceeds from our 2023 Swinging for Scholarships Golf Tournament. Julia Spiess from Northshore High School (left), Ella Corryn Rogge from Mandeville High School (middle) and Re’Ana Roig (right) from Fontainebleau High School were selected from among 24 applicants and presented with their scholarships by the tournament's Masters Sponsor REV Business's Mike Orban and our Board Chairman David Landry.

“Although the selection process involved many competitive candidates, we were very impressed with the scholastic and extra-curricular achievements of Julia, Re’Ana, and Ella,” said Landry. “We congratulate these students on their high level of academic dedication and determination and wish them a bright and successful future in all of their endeavors."

“We are committed to the growth of business and keeping local talent in our community,” said Lacey Osborne. “We are thankful to everyone who participated in the golf tournament and made these scholarships possible and hope our annual golf tournament will enable us to continue to award scholarships.”
