A message from our Executive Director

Our team is coming down the stretch, making our final push to prepare for the 34th Annual Chefs Food Fest - Jun 6, 2024 - Laughlin Chamber of Commerce. Thirty-Four years of raising money to help community members in crisis (actually it’s 36 years if you include the two we missed during the pandemic,) shows how dedicated residents are to living by the motto of “locals helping locals”. This delectable event is the chamber’s premier fundraiser for River Fund, Inc.. The River Fund is our community’s emergency safety net for families and individuals. Chefs Food Fest funds go to an unrestricted account to assist those suffering a variety of serious issues.

This year we will have three different ways you can win big. As in years past, we will have our famed Live Auction. However, we are adding two more ways to participate. We’ve added a silent auction, as well as a four-part raffle series. We are asking those who can, to bring a $1 bill, $5 bill, $10 bill, and $20 bill. That’s right, just $36 total. Each of those denominations will enter you into four separate raffle drawings to win prizes that in that past, were reserved only for live auction participants. Considering the inflationary pressures on everyone’s finances, we wanted to provide opportunities for more people to get involved, in a budget friendly way. Your four raffle donations can win you some amazing prizes such as: Dinner for 2 at The Gourmet Room, Dinner for 4 at Stockman’s Steakhouse, and Dinner for 4 at The Range! Our $20 raffle prize will remain a secret for now, but I will say, it’s going to be a BIG ONE!
