Rev. David Bailey, Sr. - A Great Loss to Salem County



It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Rev. David Bailey, Sr. This is such a great loss to our community.


Rev. Bailey was a long time Chamber Member, Board Member Emeritis, and twice Chair of The Chamber Board of Directors. He was also awarded the Distinguished Citizen of the Year Award for his many significant contributions to Salem County.


Our sincere condolences to his family, Ranch Team, and the many lives he touched. Rest in Peace, Rev.

Salem Community College Offers Flameworking Class The Spring






Take a Flameworking Class this Spring

at SCC's Glass Education Center

No prior experience necessary!

Saturdays, February 24th - May 4th

Take a flameworking class this spring at Salem Community College’s Glass Education Center! This 10-week courses requires no prior experience with glass, though those with experience will benefit as well. Class begins on Saturday, February 24. Course registration is open to visiting students. High school diploma or GED is required for enrollment in a hands-on glass course.

FNA110: Creative Principles of Flameworking*

Saturdays, 9:00 am – 2:35 pm

This introductory course introduces the tools and techniques of flameworked glass. Hands-on experiences enable the student to gain the hand skills necessary to create with glass. Class projects emphasize both the technical and creative elements necessary for creating significant flameworked glass. All students in the course will have the opportunity to attend the 2024 International Flameworking Conference, March 15 – 17!

*Ample studio time outside of class meetings is made available, Monday through Saturday, for all students enrolled in a glass course.
