An event committee is forming now to help organize the Chamber's 2nd Annual Job Fair. This event brings together job seekers and companies who are looking to fill positions.

Great Ribbon cutting held May 13 at Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes and Fries. Mayor David Rowe was on hand along with the Hwy 55 staff. The crowd enjoyed a special treat of 55 cent hamburgers.

Visitor's Center Mixer a Hit!
Thanks to everyone who attended the Business After Hours event on May 11, hosted by the Mount Airy Tourism Development Authority (TDA).
Over 100 tourism fans and Chamber members enjoyed great food and some great networking. A special thank you to Chad Tidd (TDA Chair) as well as the Tourism Staff Jessica Roberts and Jenny Smith. A good time was had by all.
Tourism is a big industry in our region. If you have NOT stopped by the Visitor's Center in awhile, come by and see us. We are located 200 N. Main Street in Mount Airy and open 7 days a week.

For Members ONLY
Chamber members can purchase an "Email Blast" to promote your business, a new product, special sale, coupon, event, etc. to 500+ businesses in the Chamber membership. Our total email list is over 1,100 individuals.
The chamber would require that the emailed document be in the form of a JPEG or PDF file,
and limited to one page, black and white or color.
The fee for an email blast is $100 (per use) and is available only to members of the Chamber. For questions on an email blast, contact Randy Collins at the Chamber via email:
