RED FASHION SCHOOL OPEN FOR ENROLLMENT | |

RED Fashion School (RED) is a new non-profit educational institution in Norwalk that brings together contemporary style design education and the insights of working designers to cultivate the next generation of cultural leaders and innovators.
Opening to the first group of students on November 15, 2023, RED will offer Connecticut’s first-and-only recognized certificate program in Fashion Design.
While working with established fashion professionals, students will work hands-on to design, market, and produce their own fashion collection, while learning the entire vertical design process — including sample room production and sales, building the necessary skills to launch their own brand or work in a fashion house.
Simeonova said. “We're dedicated to bolstering new and existing businesses by empowering our graduates to stay within the area, thereby fostering increased manufacturing and cultural enrichment in our Norwalk town and the surrounding areas.”

Norwalk ACTS is a collective impact, nonprofit organization that provides a common framework for community collaboration. Working together, across sectors, they aspire to measurably improve academic, social-emotional, and physical health of children in Norwalk, CT.
POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Initiatives will serve as the principal leader on Norwalk ACTS Initiatives. They are a hands-on, results driven leader who will be directly responsible for the Social Emotional Health & Out of School Time Initiative. They will also supervise and manage the Early Childhood Development and College & Workforce Readiness Initiative staff to ensure that all Norwalk ACTS Initiatives are consistently structured, operationalized, and improving outcomes.
