New Danville Superintendent to Speak at Chamber Breakfast

Dr. Stanley Jones, Danville Public Schools' new superintendent, will be the featured speaker at a Chamber Business at Breakfast on Tuesday, July 7, at 7:30 a.m. at the Institute for Advanced Learning & Research (150 Slayton Avenue, Danville).

This will be a great opportunity for business and community leaders to meet Dr. Jones, learn about his goals as superintendent, and welcome him to our region.

The cost for the breakfast meeting is $20 for Chamber members and $25 for non-members. Reservations are required and should be made by clicking here, emailing chamber@dpchamber.org, or calling 434-836-6990.

Chamber Office to Be Closed June 25-26

The Chamber office will be closed on Thursday, June 25 and Friday, June 26. The staff will be at a conference learning how to provide greater value and benefit to our membership.

The Chamber office will reopen on Monday, June 29 at 9 a.m.

'Meet Up Monday' Set for July 6 at 2 Witches Winery & Brewing Co.

Join us at "Meet Up Monday" on July 6 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.. at 2 Witches Winery & Brewing Co. (209 Trade Street, Danville). Meet Up Monday is a networking event normally held on the first Monday of each month from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at 2 Witches Winery & Brewing Co. The networking event targets professionals who are in the early to mid-stages of their professional careers for social interaction, networking, idea exchanges, and fun, but all Chamber members are invited to attend.
