ANNUAL SURVEY

The Coalition for a Drug Free Batesville is again collecting responses to gauge the community's perception of substance abuse throughout the Batesville community. By completing this survey, you will be assisting the Coalition in determining what their focus will be throughout the next year. We would greatly appreciate it if you could take a few minutes out of your schedule and complete the survey.

At the end of the survey, you will be asked to enter your name and e-mail address if you wish to be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card.

Thank you again to all of our partners who have already paid their 2024 partnership investment dues. We understand how you could have missed our email, so we mailed out reminder investment dues. Please let us know if you didn't receive it or contact us by February 29th to ensure that your business is included on our website, mobile app, Facebook group, listing in our community guidebook, and all other marketing materials.

We are excited to have so many people come out to pick up Cherry-Thing-A-Lings at Schmidt's Bakery this week. As part of our ongoing efforts to promote our members and highlight the best of what our area has to offer, we have been distributing our Dining and Shopping Guides to all of our visitors. Our hope is that these guides will help visitors discover new places to eat and shop, while also supporting our local businesses.

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with eXtend Marketing Partners to bring you "How to Make Google Your Biggest Fan"! It will be on Tuesday, February 27th from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at the Batesville Memorial Public Library! In this workshop, you will learn how to prepare for the algorithm changes that will impact your business in Google search and beyond. Don't miss this opportunity to stay ahead of the game, and register online now by CLICKING HERE.

We are also excited to partner with Genesis: Pathways to Success for a Chamber Connections After Hours - Leap Into Entrepreneurship event. It will be on Thursday, February 29th from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. This event is a great networking opportunity, while enjoying snacks, and a cash bar. The highlight of the evening will be a special presentation by Genesis at 5:15 pm to celebrate the D.I.C.E Challenge mission of inspiring young people to learn about entrepreneurship. To plan accordingly, a RSVP is encouraged by calling the Chamber at 812-934-3101 or email chamber@batesvillein.com by Feb. 26th.

Easter is just around the corner and the Batesville Area Chamber, along with our co-sponsor, the Batesville Mayors Youth Council, is proud to sponsor the Community Easter Egg Hunt. This fun-filled event will be held on Thursday, March 28th at 6 pm at Batesville Liberty Park.

We are asking for your support to make this event a success and bring joy to children in our community. With a donation of just $50, we can provide over 5,000 Easter Eggs and a bag of candy/toys for each participant. Your sponsorship will be acknowledged during the event and on our social media platforms. Please contact us if you are interested in sponsoring this fun-filled community event.

As one of three co-equal branches of state government, the General Assembly is responsible for enacting the laws by which the state of Indiana is governed. The intent behind this website is to afford you the opportunity to better understand the operation of the General Assembly and its impact on your life and well being.

As bills are introduced during the legislative session, the bill number and short description are included in the list below. Active bills are displayed in blue. All bills must achieve certain milestones within specific deadlines throughout the legislative process in order to remain active.
