Please welcome Stonebridge Trucking as our newest member of the Chamber. StoneBridge Expediting and Small Loading Trucking is American Veteran Owned - American Family Driven. Located in New Point, Indiana between Greensburg and Batesville, their fleet of Box Trucks (w/ liftgate service), Sprinter and Cargo Vans service a customer base in southeastern Indiana, Indianapolis, Louisville, and Cincinatti to all 48 states. Their Operations Team consists of Full-Time and Part-Time operators who value the family first mission, while serving our local communities.

As we celebrate Earth Day, we hope you will participate in the Community Clean Up today and tomorrow. Then share your pictures on our Chamber Facebook Group.

Here are just a few ideas for your businesses:

• Wash windows and doors
• Pressure wash sidewalks
• Clean up trash around your buildings
• Pull weeds & freshen up landscape areas
• Touch-up chipped paint
• Clean awnings and gutters

If you have to work inside, here are just a few ideas to freshen up your business:

• Walk into your business and look around. Do you see ways you can reorganize or possibly declutter your entrance area? Remember. first impressions make a lasting impression.
• Vacuum and mop your floors
• Check your fire alarm batteries
• Declutter and clean the register area or reception desk
• Clean inside windows

The Batesville Area Chamber has a lot of great things coming up and partnering with other organizations, so mark your calendars. 

•  Community Clean-Up Days – April 20th & 21st – We are encouraging everyone to clean up their storefronts and windows, pick up trash, pull weeds, etc. to keep our communities looking great! Many hands make light work!
• Southeastern Indiana YMCA Outdoor Community Sports Complex Ribbon Cutting – Friday, April 21^st at 3 pm.
• Batesville Skatepark & Outdoor Adventure & Trails Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting – Saturday, April 22^nd at 1 pm. 

• Chamber Legislative Update Lunch & Learn – Thursday, May 4^th – Ivy Tech Community College – Register by April 27^th – Call the Chamber at 812-934-3101 to RSVP.
• Chamber Golf Outing FUNdraiser – Thursday, May 18^th – Reserve your team by May 5^th – This is our largest fundraiser to help to provide benefits and services to our partners. There are still sponsorship opportunities, so please let us know if you would also like to be a sponsor. This is a fun-filled day of golf, networking, and games while supporting the Batesville Area Chamber so RSVP as soon as possible. 

Please review and post on our Job Board Postings. If you have any job opportunities, please post them on our website. We also need you to review the current listings and let us know if we should take some older ones off.

As a partner benefit, you can post on our Facebook Group to get even more business exposure. This is a great way to share with the community what you have going on in your business or organization, so keep posting!
