ECLIPSE

After learning about the eclipse in science classes, our N4- High School students headed outside to watch this week to watch( safely of course!!!)

ABSORPTION, SALT AND PESACH

N4 did a beautiful job of integrating science, Pesach and art this week!! Earlier in the week, our N4 students learned all about absorption as they added color to white salt and saw what happened to the salt!! ( hint: it absorbs color) After the salt dried, our students used that salt to make beautiful salt dishes for the Seder. Thank you Morah Pia and Morah Helene!!

DAVENING

Our 3rd graders in Rabbi Ellis' class have been building their davening skills throughout the year. By saying the brachot for the Amidah (and adding Yaaleh V'yavo for Rosh Chodesh!) out loud, our students really get to learn the tefillot. It is just beautiful to see what amazing davening skills they are developing!

HAGGADAH ACCOMPANIMENT

Our Middle School girls have been working with Mrs.Mio and Morah Chana on learning on the Haggadah. They have been studying the different sections of the haggadah to familiarize themselves with the various sections and then writing insights about each section.

HUCK FINN

The 9th and 10th grade students in Mrs. L'F's Honors American Literature class just completed reading Huckleberry Finn. Students broke up into groups to work on projects. These students are working on a podcast of the book which will first give a summary and then an analysis of the book.
