Mr. Nachshon Wyma

In honor of his paternal grandmother's 57th yahrzeit.

In Parashat Pekudei, we read the final inventorying of everything prepared for the Mishkan.

Hopefully you can imagine the scene: all the furnishings have been built, all the walls, ceilings,

and supports have been prepared, and everyone is gathered to assemble the Mishkan and

begin the service of HaShem…except that they are not able to put it together. After their failure

the people bring everything to Moshe and present him with the situation.

Eitan, Oded, and Shira Shachor - Morah Chana’s family who are visiting from Israel, came to speak to our middle School and High School students today……They shared their personal experiences from October 7th. Eitan is a hesder student/ soldier who was in Sderot at that time and shared what it was like to be under attack. He fought in Gaza after that, and although he is thankfully doing ok now, in December he was injured and is still recovering from his injuries. Eitan and his parents shared their feelings about that day as well. The students and faculty asked thoughtful questions and it was a very inspiring morning. What was evident was their deep pride in being able to serve Israel and their commitment to keeping our “home” safe. Thank you so much to all the Neubauers and the Shachors and עם ישראל חי!!
