PARSHAT BECHUKOTAI
Rabbi Ari Steinig
In this week's Parsha, we have the reading of the Tochacha.
The Tochacha is a list of punishments that can happen to the Jewish people if they don't follow the Torah. Wouldn't it be obvious that if we don’t follow the Torah, we would get punished? What is the Tochacha meant to teach us on a deeper level?

FIELD DAY
Last Friday, we had an absolutely glorious day for our Pre- Lag B’Omer Field Day! Two teams - Blue and White made flags incorporating the theme of Lag B’Omer, had a scavenger hunt, relay races, silly games, slip n slide, tug of war, ga ga pit and more!!! Thank you Coach Russ McKenzie!! Our Middle School students ran all of the games and did a wonderful job. In gym, not only do they teach skills and athletics, but they talk about sportsmanship and the importance of teamwork and that was evident throughout the day. Thank you to Rabbi Strosberg for helping to incorporate aspects of Lag B’Omer throughout and thank you to our elementary school staff for all their help!!
