FARBER ANNUAL EVENT

What a wonderful event Farber had on March 25th. After a warm welcome by Farber president, Dr Nathan Gonik, we were led by Farber students Yosef Nadler (4th grade) and Oren Opperer (9th grade) in the Star Spangled Banner and Hatikva. Rabbi Asher Nemes offered a Dvar Torah. We were honored to have Senator Debbie Stabenow extend warm greetings to our honoree Linda Pedder and to our honoree and her good friend Ethan Davidson.

Dr. Josh Levisohn spoke about Farber and introduced Staff Honoree, Linda Pedder extolling all that she has done for Farber( and even for the Annual Event!!) Dr. Ora Singer introduced the video of the learning that Ethan Davidson did with our students in memory of his father, Bill Davidson z”l One of the highlights of the evening was hearing Ethan Davidson play and sing with the amazing band Soulfarm. Following an introduction by Eli Saulson, Ethan Davidson’s cousin, Ethan shared some reflections about his father and lessons he learned.

Thank you so much to chairs- Stephanie Friedman, Rachel and Josh Opperer, and Dr. Ora Singer and to Amy Hager, Marketing Manager. You can view pictures from the event HERE.

When shopping at any Toyology location, please mention Farber ECC. The ECC will receive 20% in store credit. When the money adds up we can go and buy new toys and games for the ECC.

This year, our application season is beginning earlier than in the past and applications are now open! New students may apply by clicking HERE. Current students do not need to confirm their re-enrollment at this time; their spots will be held until our reverification process later in the year.

While applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, we anticipate that the Toddler class will fill quickly and there are a limited number of spots in Latchkey.

Please reach out with any questions. We’re excited to welcome new students to Farber! Spread the word to families who might be interested in joining our community or let us know HERE if there is a family who we should reach out to.

PARSHAT TZAV

Rabbi Ari Ellis

The Ma Nishtana is among the many highlights of the Pesach Seder for many of us. Whether it’s young children singing it for their first time or parents proudly listening to their own child ask the questions, it’s certainly one of the most exciting parts of any Seder.
