DR. SEUSS' BIRTHDAY
It’s another one Mrs. Roberts’ favorite days of school - Dr. Seuss’ birthday!!!!! In addition to reading Dr. Seuss books ( both to Kindergarten and to the ECC), the Kindergartners played all sorts of Dr. Seuss themed math and literacy games!! Thank you Mrs. Roberts!!

LEARNING RASHI
“Does Rashi ask us a question or give us an answer?”
Rabbi Ellis’ 3rd graders had a monumental day this week as they learned their first Rashi!! They studied Bereshit- Perek 23: pasuk 9
working in chevruta to investigate which question Rashi was trying to ask….by learning the answer he gave. Yasher Koach Kitah Gimel and Rabbi Ellis!!!

ACID OR BASE
Tapwater, tomato juice, cola, cooking oil, milk, vinegar? Acid or a base?? In Mr. Barnes’ and Mr. Wolowiec’s Middle School Science class, the students made predictions whether common substances are acidic or basic using litmus paper and pH paper!

AP COMPUTER SCIENCE
This week Mr. Wyma’s AP Computer Science wrapped up the unit on Algorithms. The last topic was sequential and parallel processing, speedup, and the upper limits of distributing a process. The students worked in teams of three or four, sorting a standard deck of cards, to explore the concepts.
