Bryan Myers was born in Charleston, SC in 1972, and moved to Americus, GA in 1977, where he grew up and graduated from Americus High School in 1990. He then attended North Georgia College, where he came to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. He later transferred to Georgia Southwestern College where he was discipled in his faith, and where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1995. During his time at GSW, Bryan felt the call to full-time ministry. He served First Baptist Church in Americus while in college, and also served as a missionary in Oregon during the summer of 1993.
Bryan married Keeli Lawson on June 24, 1995. Keeli graduated from GSW with her Bachelor’s in Nursing degree, and they immediately moved to Louisville, Kentucky where Bryan would graduate with a Master’s in Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Bryan and Keeli served at First Baptist Church in Hazlehurst, Georgia for a few years before Bryan was called to serve as Student Pastor at Central in May 2002. Bryan served in that role until 2008, when he became our Associate Pastor, serving under Senior Pastor Hugh DeLoach. During this time, Bryan would earn a Doctor in Ministry degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2009. Upon Hugh’s retirement in early 2013, Bryan was called to serve as Senior Pastor of Central.
Bryan and Keeli have 3 adult children: Maggie is 24 years old (husband Dylan), Joanna (22), and Creighton (19). Their family enjoys sports and outdoor activities, such as hunting, fishing, camping, hiking.

UPDATE FROM THE LAW'S IN KENYA | |
Here is the most recent update from Bret, Anna, Caleb and Elizabeth Law who are serving Kenya at this time:
Thank you all for your prayers for Kapsowar Mission Hospital and the people we are serving here. The hospital has been busy with many very sick patients, being called in the night to deal with a range of issues from preterm infants in distress, children with meningitis and even a serious snake bite victim. We are all well and are thankful for the energy and strength to serve. Thank you all again for all of your support and your ongoing prayers.

FRIENDSHIP CAMPS
There are several camps scheduled for the month of June at Friendship Camp! This includes Day Camp, Girls, Boys and Youth. These camps are affordable and open to children of all ages. To see a description of all available, please go to their website at www.friendshipcamps.com
There are also opportunities to sponsor children and to volunteer! Many of these children have never heard the Gospel!
Central Baptist has acquired snacks that will be delivered, however, if you wish to donate snacks, please take them directly to Friendship beginning June 10th. They could use individually wrapped chips, crackers, granola, cereal bars and non-carbonated drinks (no Hugs drinks, please). Mostly be in prayer for these children and the volunteers for a successful month.

UPLIFT GOLF
Uplift Disc Golf is a Christian evangelistic program introducing disc golf to students aged 5-18. It offers 10-week sessions with practice sessions, match day events and evaluations for beginners and advanced players. The program provides teaching tools, coaching tips and devotionals to enhance players' skills and readiness for tournaments.
We are so excited to offer Uplift Golf here at Central! The dates are every Tuesday & Thursday @ 10 am (time will be adjusted when school starts) from July 8 - September 7th and will take place on the trails here at Central Baptist. The cost is $65. Terrific Tuesdays!
For Central Kids and
Central Students!
We would like to invite your kids to join us for Terrific Tuesdays during the summer, beginning Tuesday June 18th. This program is open to all kids who have completed K-5th grade and will run every Tuesday through July. We will have indoor and outdoor activities available for your kids to enjoy while they are with us here at the church. The program will run from 1:00-3:00 pm, so come and join us for some summer fun!
Also! Central Students, grades 6-12 will have Terrific Tuesdays from 3pm - 5pm! Begins June 18th and runs through July 30! Come hang out and have fun!

SUMMER SPORTS CAMP
Summer Sports Camp will be held Monday, June 24th -Thursday, June 27th from 9am - Noon in the ROC. The camp is for kids who have completed 3rd grade to completed 5th grade. We will work on the fundamentals of basketball, football, soccer, disc golf and other various sports. The cost of the camp is $40.
