Meet Lisa Larson, yoga instructor at CHF. A California native hailing from the South Bay, Torrance & Lomita. Lisa adores Italian, French & Japanese cuisine, and finds solace in observing wolves and backyard birds. She's a yoga enthusiast and nature lover who cherishes life's moments through photography. Teaching gentle & restorative yoga since 2001, Lisa brings a wealth of experience and passion to her classes. Join her Thursdays at 8:45 a.m.

Rosie's journey proves the power of personalized training and believing in yourself.

Join us for Some Moai Walking fun!


A Moai® (pronounced “Mo Eye”) is a group of people meeting for a common purpose and can include activities like walking, purpose discussions and potluck meals. The world’s longest-lived people chose–or were born into–social circles that supported healthy behaviors, Okinawans created “Moais”–groups of five friends that committed to each other for life. Research from the Framingham Studies shows that smoking, obesity, happiness, and even loneliness are contagious. So, the social networks of long-lived people have favorably shaped their health behaviors. Based on this tradition, Moai groups are considered just as important to a person’s health as the benefits of being active, healthy eating and finding a purpose.
