ADVANCED ENERGY CENTER DIGEST
Issue No.10 - Spring 2021
POWER PLAYERS - Our Partners
The Center of Excellence in Wireless and Information Technology (CEWIT) was created in 2003 as the anchor of Stony Brook University’s Research and Development Park, with a mandate to conduct research and commercialize it. The center is a next-generation R&D and educational facility dedicated to leading, initiating, fostering and managing the transfer of technologies from the research laboratory to the marketplace, and to bridging industry and the university’s faculty and students. Since its inception, CEWIT – which currently has more than 70 associated faculty members and 300 Ph.D./M.S. students engaged in research – has worked hard to build strategic alliances and business partnerships among academic, scientific and business communities.
