As a founding partner of a busy multi-practice corporate law firm, founding member of the investment-minded Long Island Angel Network (LIAN) and contributing founder of Stony Brook University’s Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center, Michael Faltischek is an all-time force in regional business and energy development.
A former Long Island Power Authority trustee and chairman of LIPA’s Economic Development Committee, Michael has represented National Grid, Caithness and other major-league regional energy providers, as well as private companies incorporating renewable-energy technologies.
His law firm, Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, also guided PSEG upon its arrival to the Long Island market. Based in Uniondale, the firm boasts more than 65 attorneys across a variety of critical corporate-law fields, including Energy, Real Estate, Construction Law and Corporate Governance, a practice group Michael was instrumental in forming.
A member of the firm’s Corporate and Securities Department, the senior partner and current LIAN chairman is also a member of Nassau County-based business advisory Illuminado Partners LLC, which supports early-stage and growth-oriented companies.
