Older Americans Month Showcase

Older Americans Month is a national initiative of the Administration for Community Living to promote dignity and financial security for older adults.

Age-Friendly North Jersey (AFNJ) is an alliance of leaders strengthening communities for all ages. AFNJ communities celebrated in May 2023 in a variety of ways. This newsletter showcases some of their work, including social events, arts and educational programs, and other celebrations.

New Jersey’s Age-Friendly movement seeks to work across boundaries of all types. This year’s Older Americans Month theme was a fitting tie-in to our community-building efforts: Aging Unbound.
