Dear Friends,

Have you ever considered that you are so ordinary, you wonder what could you ever offer God? Have you wanted God to use you, but you’re not sure what you ‘bring to the table’?

You are not alone. I think a lot of us feel that way a lot of the time. The wonderful thing is that God isn’t just after our ability, but He is after our availability.

It's all about our saying yes to God, and seeing Him step in. You and I are very ordinary, and we can easily believe that “ordinary” equates to “useless.” Have you seen God move in life’s ordinary moments? Have you seen Him at work through your mistakes? Are you caught in the lie that God only operates in spectacular, extraordinary ways, or through our moments of greatest obedience? When we look only for the extraordinary, we miss God’s glory in the ordinary. He has a way of using ordinary people and their stories to make His extraordinary story come alive.

Come Sunday and bring who you are...because who you are is an important piece to our puzzle at Port Naz and in God’s ongoing story of LifeChange. This Sunday we will continue doing life together in worship and as we receive communion, and following the service we’ll have a special time to eat and fellowship together. It will be a Celebration Sunday!
