Brothers & Sisters,

For the past two Sundays, we have been celebrating God's presence and growth in our church for the first 11 months of our 24-month BEYOND initiative. By “God’s power at work within us” (Eph. 3:20b), we are off to an amazing start!

And I believe the second year of BEYOND can be even more impactful as we baptize new Christians, welcome new members, break ground on Phase 1a, and serve more people in need than ever before - locally and beyond!

As we approach a very special Celebration Sunday (Outdoor Worship at 9:30a), May 19, we are asking for your participation in "BEYOND refresh".

Between now and then, please join us this coming Sunday, May 12 (Mother's Day) at 8:15a, 9:30a & 10:45a as we look to Matthew 9, Jesus' ministry outside the walls of church!

$5 Mission Challenges May 5th - May 25th

Congratulations Class of 2024!

Hoover Belle and Hoover Ambassador, National Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society, and Mu Alpha Theta. Nominated for the Finley character award and is graduating with a 4.2 GPA.

Attending Ole Miss and majoring in International Studies with a concentration in Global Business and Economics.

Working this summer at Tortugas. But also going on a few trips to the beach and then out to Colorado to mountain bike. Attending Auburn to study Computer Science with a focus in cyber security.

Captain for her Speech and Debate Team, Captain for her Science Olympiad Team and was the State Champion in Chemistry last year.

Mu Alpha Theta, Rho Kappa, German, Science, Debate, and National Honor Societies. Graduating with Advanced Honors.

Attending The University of Florida and majoring in Public Health. She hopes to attain a masters and PhD in Epidemiology.

Dance, Spanish, Mu Alpha Theta, Rho Kappa, and National Honor Societies. Graduating with Honors in Academics and Dance. Dazzlers competitive dance team and Letters for Rose. Attending Mississippi State University majoring in Biological Science with a Pre-Veterinary Medicine tract.

Honor Society, Volunteered at Vestavia Library, Dog walker Part-time, Hiking, Reading and Art, Gamecock Achievement Scholarship. Attending Jacksonville State College and study Business and Finance.

National honors society, Junior and Senior class historian, committee member of - To The Fullest Foundation ( Breast cancer awareness organization), Choir social chair, Show choir (Paradigm) Dance Captain, All girls a cappella singing group (Grace Note), Community service award, Kilwins shift leader. Attending Auburn University in the fall and plans to major in communications.

National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta , AP Capstone, Peer Helper, Varsity Tennis team, Student Athletic Advisory Council, Recognized for earning a 4.0+ throughout HS. Attending the University of Alabama and majoring in business.

Can you help in the Rainbow Room?

The Rainbow Room will be opened from 9:30-10:30a every Sunday so families can attend worship. In this space, we will provide a safe and caring environment for children who have special needs, ages 5-12 years old.

We need adults and youth (8th grade and older) to help serve in this ministry!
