Introducing our new logo!

Celebrating our 50th Anniversary with a modern look that captures Pemi Choral's vision of the

future while honoring our connection

to the Pemigewasset River

Why did we change the logo? Our most recent logo, while fine at full size, was too busy to show up well on the media platforms of our current electronic age, especially when it was reduced in size. In addition, the new simpler logo stands out among other traditional chorus logos that use musical notes and staffs.

Many thanks to Board Member Victoria Merriman who chaired the logo redesign committee, researched effective choral logos, facilitated the logo design focus groups, and then created the new logo.

As we begin our celebration of the 50 years since the founding of the chorus, here is a look back at Pemi Choral's former logos.

This was the first, hand drawn logo from 1973 when the chorus was formed. The first concert was performed in May 1974.

Dated in 1981, this logo shows the first use of merged symbolism of the river, and a musical staff.

This is the most recent former logo, in use for the past 10+ years.
