LSSCM clients featured in Toledo news story about their hopes to return to Riverview Terrace Apartments
Riverview Terrace Apartments housed nearly 175 elderly and disabled tenants, but was condemned on July 25, 2022, forcing immediate evacuation. Among those displaced were Richard and Cynthia Hoyle. The city of Adrian stepped in, purchasing Adrian Inn to relocate Riverview’s residents, including the Hoyles. However, issues soon arose that prompted the Hoyles to seek legal assistance from LSSCM.
With LSSCM’s help, the Hoyles were able to maintain stable housing at Adrian Inn until Riverview Terrace reopens. Our advocacy ensures their journey home won’t include further homelessness.
