Connecting People with Purpose - Celebrating 50 Years of Volunteering

As the gateway to the holiday season, November is a special time of year to reflect upon all the things that we are thankful for. At HandsOn Suburban Chicago we have much to be thankful for including:
  • Our dedicated and hardworking staff and volunteers that enable us to meet our mission everyday by connecting people with purpose.
  • The over 100 nonprofit organizations we partner with that strengthen our communities through their service to those that have the greatest needs.
  • Generous donors like the Foglia Family Foundation that provided us with one of our largest single grants to date. This significant contribution enabled our impactful school programs to expand and help more at-risk, and low income children to become successful and confident students through our tutoring, mentorship and service learning offerings.
  • And last but not least, we are thankful to everyone who has contributed to our growth and success for over the past fifty years.

In the spirit of thanksgiving, we ask you to consider helping HandsOn Suburban Chicago by honoring us with a $50 donation or larger if you are able. This support will go a long way in keeping our impactful programs and services going for many more years to come. Giving Tuesday is December 3rd but you can make your donation starting today using the link below.

On behalf of all of us at HandsOn Suburban Chicago we wish you a happy and healthy holiday season!

Thank you,

Jordan Friedman, Executive Director
