Celebrate the Holidays at the Winter Festival

Join us for a joyous celebration of the season filled with laughter, lights, and love. Bring your family, friends, and holiday spirit to our Margate’s Winter Festival on Friday, December 15, from 6-10 p.m. at the corner of Margate Boulevard and State Road 7. This free, family-friendly event offers real “Florida-style” snow, children’s rides, arts and crafts, food vendors, live music, and pictures with Santa. The event is presented by the MCRA.

Decorate Your Home With Twinkling Lights

We want your home decorated for the holidays with plenty of twinkling lights and festive décor. Registration is now open for our Margate’s 2023 Holiday Decorating Contest. Submit your online application no later than 5 p.m. on December 10. First, second-, and third-place winners will be recognized at a future City Commission Meeting.

Looking for Volunteers for Pledge of Allegiance

Would you like your child to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at a City Commission Meeting? Our City Commission is looking for students from private or public schools who either live in Margate or attend a Margate school to lead the Pledge. PIP Program Reopens on January 8

Get your project estimates now and be ready to submit them when the citywide Property Improvement Grant Program (PIP) reopens on Monday, January 8, 2024, at 9 a.m. The PIP Grant provides a 50% reimbursement grant of up to $50,000 for commercial or multi-family properties, common areas, and building exteriors owned by condominium or homeowner associations. The program also provides 50% reimbursement up to $10,000 for improvements to single-family properties or multi-family (individually owned) homesteaded properties.
