January 2020 at Place des Arts
Home to our arts community

Happy new year to you! Another decade has passed so I hope you're starting this one off with a bang.

I always like to think of the new year as a way to do a little self-evaluating and personal goal setting. This year, I am aiming to hike the Coquitlam Crunch, travel somewhere I have never been before and try my hand at pottery. Do you have any aspirations for 2020?

This month at Place des Arts, we have our  8th annual Celebration of Robbie Burns  on January 18 with traditional music and a Scottish-inspired dinner! We also have a  Family Day  on January 26 with art activities based around   three exhibitions  that are opening this month on January 10.

Finally , classes start up again  this month! We have a wide variety of visual, performing and literary arts classes on offer for all ages, abilities and interests. Sign up for something new for 2020!

Wishing you the best this year has to offer,
Aurora van Roon
Communications Coordinator
