Dear Beloved Community,

Since our launch in February 2024, our Love Over Fear Oakland Campaign has continued to infuse art and culture throughout Oakland, uplifting our call for love, safety, and community investments, led by IM4HI’s Cultural Strategists - Amina Lei, B Dukes, and Francisco Herrera.

Three highlights of their work:

Unveiling Love Podcasts

Amina Lei, known for her luminary work in art and activism, launched a podcast, hosting powerful community-driven conversations every Friday on the IM4HI podcast, Unveiling Love in Oakland: Stories of Community and Social Change. Through enlightening discussions with prominent leaders from the Oakland community, she explores how to uplift the City and its people, through story-telling.

In June, join Amina as she brings on the following guests:

  • June 7 - Ny Nourn, Co-Director of Asian Prisoner Support Committee
  • June 14 - James Burch, Anti-Police Terror Project
