Celebrate Halloween at the Fall Fun Festival on October 27
Join us for a family fun-filled evening with spooktacular activities at the Fall Fun Festival on Friday, October 27 in the historic Mission District from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The festival is free and offers a range of frightfully fun activities for all ages, including a haunted zone, costume contests, trunk-or-treating, and a guided haunted tour of the Mission Playhouse. There will also be food trucks, carnival games, and a free photo booth available to enjoy throughout the night.
Event Schedule:
5:00 p.m. - Trunk-or-Treat with decorated vehicles along Mission Drive; check-in for the costume contest begins
6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. - The costume contest in front of the Mission Playhouse begins. Participants will be grouped by age and awards will be given for Spookiest, Cutest, and Most Creative costumes.
6:30 p.m. - Haunted Zone at the Grapevine Arbor Park begins
8:00 p.m. - Guided tours of the Mission Playhouse with tales of ghostly encounters
The Grapevine Arbor Park, located at 324 South Mission Drive, will be transformed into an eerie Haunted Zone, featuring a maze designed for thrill seekers aged 12 and above. After wandering through the haunted zone, attendees can join the Mission Playhouse crew on a guided tour to learn about the mysteries of the theater.
Interested participants can pre-register at sgprd.org to reserve a time slot for the Haunted Zone and to participate in the costume contest.
