San Gabriel, Calif. – San Gabriel is excited to host its annual Cinco de Mayo Mercado event on Friday, May 3, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the Mission District, with special media sponsor Telemundo52. This celebration promises an exciting evening filled with vibrant festivities for visitors and families to enjoy.
The free outdoor celebration will showcase the rich tapestry of Mexican culture, featuring live entertainment, delectable food, local artisans, kids’ activities and more. Highlights include captivating performances by Mila and Friends, a Folkorico group, an Aztec dance group named Xipe Totec, and Las Chorizeras, an all-female mariachi fusion ensemble.
A variety of food trucks, including Lupita’s Tacos, Chano’s Tacos, and Rocolini’s Snacks, will be on hand to serve delicious culinary delights. Specialty cocktails, sangria, and beer will also be available for purchase at the beer garden hosted by Pez Cantina.
During the evening, guests will have the opportunity to explore the historic Mission District and its various food vendors, as well as discover the unique crafts made by local artisans. In addition, our media sponsor, Telemundo52, will be present at the event, providing free photo booths, exciting giveaways and other enjoyable activities.
