Kowabunga KELLY!!!!

I've been talking about this for YEARS and now I've decided to jump in feet first as the saying goes...ANNOUNCING OUR 1st ANNUAL QUILTING CRUISE!! Woo-hoo!! Gracye from The Sewing Garret & I have teamed up to sponsor the "Catch a Quilting Wave" Cruise!! Join us on Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas January 27-30, 2023, for quilting, prizes, fabulous ports of call, & loads of fun!!! We will depart from Port Canaveral on Friday, January 27th for 3 nights of sewing adventures!

Guess what???  Sewing machines & pre-cut kits will be provided!  WHAT!!  How cool is that!?!?

Sew, what's the cruise project you wonder??  The 60"x74" surfboard quilt pictured above will be our cruise project.  Don't worry, we're here to pilot your "surfing lessons" through the waters of curving piecing and a little embellishment. We also suggest that you bring along another project to work on during open sewing time or in the event that you complete the cruise project quickly.  Please note that the kit fabrics will vary from those pictured above.

Non-quilter guests are always welcome. If you are a solo traveler in need of a partner to share a room, please let us know; we do have a list of solo participants.  Staterooms can be configured with either 1 king or 2 twin beds.   We have reserved a block of Balcony cabins, but Suites, Oceanview, or Inside Cabins are available at time of booking.  If you are an RCCL Crown & Anchor member, our Cruise Planner Celeste Belyea has you covered!

Whew!  Let's see if I missed anything...fabulous food, palatial staterooms with balconies & tropical ocean breezes, quilting bliss where you bring very little (a small supply list will be published in November), pre-cut kits, sewing machines provided, swag bags, prizes, nighttime turndown service, incredible entertainment, and fun!  Oh yeah, the price...for Quilters the cost is $899 and non-quilting guests $799.  What a deal!  A $100 per person refundable deposit is due upon booking.  The remaining balance is due prior to November 6, 2022.  Pricing is based upon double occupancy and includes all taxes and port fees. Gratuities, beverage/photo packages, excursions, and the like are not included in the cruise fee.
