On National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day we honored the Americans and Koreans who served and gave their lives to protect freedom. As an immigrant who grew up in South Korea in the aftermath of the Korean War and a wife and sister of U.S. veterans, I'm here today because of them.
Entrepreneurs and retailers need our support more than ever as they face record-high inflation, supply chain backlogs and labor shortages.

I’m grateful to the National Retail Foundation (NRF) for presenting me with the 2022 Hero of Main Street award. As a small business owner and as Ranking Member of the Small Business Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Workforce Development Subcommittee, I’m proud to support our local retailers and policies that uplift small businesses.
Promises made to our allies must be promises kept. As the CCP ramps up its aggression, any delays in delivering U.S. defense equipment already sold to Taiwan and Indo Pacific allies jeopardize our national security and the security of our allies in the Indo-Pacific.

I thank my Foreign Affairs Committee colleagues for supporting the Arms Exports Delivery Solutions Act through committee and for bringing a needed focus to these urgent challenges.
This month marks 25 years of a continuous presence on Mars, starting with the landing of the Pathfinder on July 4, 1997.

Great to meet NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory Director Laurie Leshin to discuss plans to boost our leadership in robotic space exploration and drive U.S. STEM education and innovation.
Nothing better than a summer concert in Buena Park!

Team Young enjoyed the great music and connecting with Buena Park PD during the city's National Night Out. I'm grateful to our local police for working hard to keep us safe and foster positive relationships in our community.
I was honored to meet with Fred Warmbier in my DC office.

His son Otto experienced what no American – or human being – should ever have to go through at the hands of the North Korean regime. I will continue sharing Otto’s story.
Hope is here! Team Young was glad to help celebrate the grand opening of the City of Hope OC Lennar Foundation Cancer Center which will deliver world-renowned treatment, research and cures to our Orange County communities.
