Merino 6 from Trendsetter
Merino 6, (Merino VI) from our friends at Trendsetter, is an incredibly soft, plied, DK weight (#3) yarn made with 100% Merino that comes in a variety of on-trend colors.
It's a great yarn to reach for when you want something very soft, like baby hats, cowls, garments, and more!
| As it's a luxuriously soft DK weight yarn, you could use a single ball to knit our fabulous Pulse Warmers, designed by our own Kris Gregson! | |
(Pulse Warmer 2019 as shown knit with one skein of Cardiff Classic Cashmere)
This DK weight (#3), 100% cashmere yarn is spun in a small, family run mill in Italy that only works with cashmere so they get the finest cashmere we've found!
Use two balls of Classic Cashmere in contrasting colors to knit this beautiful color work cowl designed by Kris Gregson! It's obvious why she named it the Ocean Waves cowl. | This pattern would also be great with two skeins of Merino 6!
The Laughing Minstrel Hat
This one-size-fits-most hat is designed by Kris Gregson and is unique as it has cording contained in the brim so it ties on to fit. This makes it a great choice for yarns with little to no memory, such as cotton or other plant based yarns.
Originally designed in a sport weight yarn, the Laughing Minstrel hat can be knit with yarns from fingering weight to DK weight.
Three skeins of Merino 6 would be perfect for this versatile design.
| This hat was designed for Eric Williams, and incredible musician who, after a long career that took him around the world, now lives here in Cambria and can be seen performing all over the area. | |
Buy 2 (or more) skeins of Merino 6 and/or Classic Cashmere and get 20% off!
Discounted price will show up in your cart.
Offer good from now Through Friday, March 17.
(in stock quantities only, of course)

Last Chance - Worsted Weight Socks Promotion!
|
We know many of you are sock knitters and many of you want to start but are intimidated by the small needles. We have a great yarn from OnLine that is a rugged, machine washable, worsted weight (#4) sock yarn! FYI - Worsted weight is called 8-ply in Europe. As you're working on larger needles, typically 7s or 8s, the socks work up much faster than on traditional sock yarn.
Great for socks, hats, scarves, anything where a durable, machine washable yarn is a requirement.

Buy Two (2) or more skeins of Supersocke 8Ply and get them at 30% off! Discounted price will show up in your cart.

This simple hat pattern is knit with worsted weight (#4) yarn. It's a simple pattern so a multi colored yarn would also be great! Try the Supersocke listed above, or Manos Maxima or Alegria Grande.
Knit on 16" US 10 Circulars and US 10 dpns, (or size to get gauge.)
| |
|
This simple crochet cowl pattern can be made with almost any gauge yarn. We love it in DK weight (#3), but change your hook size and the chain length and adapt it for any gauge yarn!
This pattern is great with so many yarns, it will soon become your favorite!
