Carlton V Bell II on 'Topdog/Underdog' and much more

Carlton V Bell II is no stranger to Birmingham stages. They have directed shows nationally, but also on local stages, such as Birmingham Children's Theatre and Birmingham Festival Theatre. Five years after directing "Choir Boy" at BFT, Bell is back with Suzan-Lori Parks' acclaimed "Topdog/Underdog." They talk about that show, and much more, in this story.

TNT holding season auditions


The opening show, "Sunday in the Park with George," has been cast, but Terrific New Theatre, returning in a new permanent space in November, is holding auditions for the rest of its season, including for "POTUS," "Tiny Beautiful Things" and "The Minutes."
