At A Loss: An Online Writing Workshop on Grief

Wednesday, March 10, 2021 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Note: This workshop is limited to 25 participants.
Grief has a habit of rendering us mute. But when we put our sadness into words, we tap into the healing process and begin to make sense of our pain. Writing our grief can reveal the darkest corners of our loss, or simply put tears on paper.
In a workshop led by essayist Karen Paul, participants will read works from authors who write about grief, write from prompts, and share their words with the group. This workshop will be a safe, comfortable, and supportive writing and sharing environment.
Karen Paul, a new member of CaringMatters' Board of Trustees (see below), is an essayist and memoirist whose work has been published in Lilith, The Washington Post, Modern Loss, and other sites. In addition to hosting grief writing workshops, she is currently writing a memoir on illness, loss and widowhood.
