HOW CAN I STAY CONNECTED?
SPECIAL EVENTS:
Play Reading
Jean & Denis Calandra (above, "on" Walden Pond) are generously organizing and hosting a series of readings of Joyce Carol Oates' play
"The Passion of Henry David Thoreau"
using Zoom video-conferencing software. Denis notes "it is a perfect UU kind of play" with characters like Transcendentalist Ralph Waldo Emerson, feminist Margaret Fuller and abolitionist John Brown. They will split the play into 3 readings on consecutive Sunday afternoons, likely starting April 19th. Details and opportunity to RSVP will follow next week.
Expressive Movement
Cynthia Alicia has kindly offered to host movement sessions via Zoom but wants to tailor sessions to your interests. Options include:
1) seated or standing in place dance program focusing on mind-body connection (warm-up, choreographed dance, related activities & cool-down)
2) primarily for purpose of community: basic warm-up and dance routine
3) primarily for purpose of community to include working together to create interpretive movements to accompany church hymns and other movement ideas

ORGANIZE YOUR OWN SPECIAL EVENT OR MEETING:
Covenant groups, teams and discussion groups are using
Google HangOuts
and
Zoom
to video and audio conference.
Zoom has more robust functionality and works better for larger groups, especially if you want to break into small group discussion.
