It's Almost Summer Molly!

For those of you who served, or you have family members that served, I thank you for your service! I love this country and what it stands for, our freedom, our rights and our opportunities that we have here.

Memorial Day is an American holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Memorial Day 2024 will occur on Monday, May 27, today.

Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971. Many Americans observe Memorial Day by visiting cemeteries or memorials, holding family gatherings and participating in parades. Unofficially, it marks the beginning of the summer season.

Update on my daughter Maggie's wedding. We went shopping for her dress yesterday and she said YES TO THE DRESS! Awesome shop in Snohomish For the Luv of Bridal! I don't want to spoil her day so I can't show you the dress she chose but I can show you a couple of fun pics!
