About This Position

The AI Solutions Architect plays a pivotal role in advancing the adoption and integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies across the institution. This position acts as a bridge between the functional and technical communities. It involves a blend of service coordination, project management, and advocacy for AI initiatives, with a strong emphasis on leveraging technical expertise to guide the development and deployment of AI systems responsibly across the institution. 


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred) with five (5) – seven (7) years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience in AI project management, coordination, or support.
  • Deep understanding of AI systems, model training, system deployment and modern RAG practices.
  • Hands-on experience building MLOps and Serverless applications.
  • Expertise in data engineering and data pipelines.

This position is located at the Main Campus in Ithaca, New York with a hybrid work arrangement.
