Dear LAHA Partners,
On April 21, 2023, LAHSA released the 24-Hour Safe Parking Program Request for Proposals (RFP) with a submission deadline of June 2, 2023. This RFP was released in partnership with the Los Angeles County Homeless Initiative (HI) with the goal of establishing 24-hour Safe Parking sites, including supportive services, in each of the five (5) Supervisorial Districts for individuals and/or families who currently dwell in their vehicles.
We regret to inform you that we are canceling this procurement, pursuant to Section 9 of the RFP, due to insufficient funding to award new contracts under this procurement. Section 9 of the RFP states, “Issuance of this RFP and receipt of proposals is not a commitment to award a contract. LAHSA reserves the right to postpone proposal opening or award for its own convenience, to accept or reject any or all proposals received in response to this RFP, to negotiate with more than one Proposer concurrently, or to cancel all or part of this RFP.”
