Representatives from the SmithGroup, a firm that Idaho State University has engaged with since November 2023 to develop a comprehensive campus master plan, will visit each of ISU's campuses August 26 - 28 to present a draft preliminary master plan for all of the institution's primary campus locations. The draft preliminary plan is a combination of three proposed options presented in April, following their review and assessment of the entire physical campus and the utilization of all university spaces, along with additional feedback gathered from campus and community members.
Staff, faculty, students and community members are invited to a presentation of the draft preliminary plan and to provide feedback. Light refreshments will be served.

The Facilities Campus Master Plan will develop a framework for future campus development that will shape the future of our physical campuses including the determination of spaces we need, how we use and develop our land, and how we present ourselves publicly with our overall campus look and feel.
As we plan together for the future of Idaho State University campuses your participation and input is vital to inform the direction of this planning effort. The August visit will be the final opportunity for all of our stakeholders to provide feedback. We believe that by working together, we can create a campus environment that truly reflects the aspirations and needs of our community.
Visit isu.edu/campusplan to learn more about the project, view a progress timeline and for a list of open forum events, both in-person and virtual, that will take place in August.
Our University’s continued progress is evident. Thank all of you for your efforts and commitment to our mission to better student lives through education.
