The 2023 ITGA Conference Update
The rich, robust content includes educational topics about economic development, health and wellness, transportation, community engagement, community partnerships, off-campus housing, alcohol, DEIA, and safety in town-gown communities. We are notifying presenters and the agenda will be available soon. The biggest challenge is, which sessions are you going to attend?!!
Fort Collins is doing such a fabulous job planning for the conference. We received 70+ proposals, more than we could actually take, which made this process really challenging. They have a special keynote presenter that will be announced soon and you definitely want to be there. He has a fabulous story to tell about resiliency, which we all need in our professional lives. If you have not signed up for the conference, it is not too late! Registration is open!

Reframing and Aligning Equity Efforts in Town Gown Communities
This pre-conference program will illuminate what is commonly taken for granted when striving for equitable outcomes and systems-level change. Participants will deepen their understanding of DEIJ with respect to vision and values that move beyond an emphasis on “outputs” towards equity and liberation that benefits all marginalized groups.
