Rendering of Pedestrian Crossing Island on Aberdeen Avenue | |
Tuesday, September 24 from 6 - 8 PM to discuss the
Aberdeen Avenue Safety Improvement Project
Plans for the street include:
- Installation of a pedestrian crossing island crossing Aberdeen Ave at Mt Auburn St. This design will replace the existing flush bus apron.
- Installation of separated bike lanes on Aberdeen Ave. Separated bike lanes will be adjacent to the median, with no impacts to parking. This will narrow the travel lane on Aberdeen, resulting in slower speeds and safer travel, but will not impact vehicle capacity or delay.

|
