Five Wellness Tips to Kick off the Semester
Stay on top of your health and get your yearly checkup!
Take advantage of your health insurance and do three things: get your physical, dental cleaning, and annual eye exam.
For students with SHIP, physicals and dental cleanings are free and annual eye exams are $10.
If you have different insurance, you can STILL use the Tang Center for your checkups. Check with your insurance on coverage prior to your appointment at Tang.
Buy discounted over-the-counter products at Tang's pharmacy!
Over-the-counter medications and contraceptive products are offered at discounted prices at the Tang Center pharmacy and the wellness vending machine at the RSF.
For example, Trojan ENZ is $2.50 for 10 at Tang versus $6.99 for 12 at Target. Other examples of Tang items: Banophen (like Benedryl) is $3, Pink Pismuth (like Pepto Bismol) is $3, Acetominophen - MPAP (like Tylenol) is $3, Ibuprofen (like Advil) is $4, thermometers are $4, water-based lubricant is $7, and pregnancy tests are $5.

Try a healthy sample and get easy recipes at our various food demonstrations on campus! Ask a registered dietitian your specific question during nutrition drop-in at various locations and times!

Think you have the flu but aren't sure what to do? Have a random rash? Ask an advice nurse or get preventative tips and help. You don't need an appointment!
The Tang Center will be closed Monday for Labor Day.
Urgent Care is open Saturday & Sunday from 10am-4pm. We're closed Monday but we'll be open again during normal hours on Tuesday, September 3 at 8am. For assistance on Monday, please see our
