What is the timeline?
Thursday, May 30 – Deadline to submit an individual speaker proposal or a session proposal online (sessions are approximately 1 hour, so 2-3 speakers plus a moderator is most common).
Friday, June 28 – NABE’s TEC planning committee makes final decisions, and all who have submitted a proposal will be notified. Session dates/times assigned.
July through October – NABE staff and planning committee assist you in planning for the session and coordinating with other speakers and moderators.
October 27-29 – Conference convenes in Seattle.
Here are some helpful hints for planning complete sessions:
- Sessions last 60 minutes, which is about right for a panel of 2-3 speakers plus a moderator.
- Please help us to infuse diversity in the conference and ensure we are providing a variety of viewpoints.
-
As a policy, NABE does not reimburse speaker travel or pay honoraria, but all speakers may attend the conference for free on the day they speak and/or attend the full conference at half price.
