ANAC announces 2023 Call for Nominations -
Board of Directors and Nominating Committee
ANAC is seeking leaders to help shape the future of our organization through participation on the board of directors and nomination committee. 
 
Do you know someone who is energetic, forward-thinking and committed to promoting the health and welfare of people living with HIV? Are you interested in getting more involved with ANAC? Consider nominating yourself or a colleague.

Current open positions
  • President-elect
  • Secretary
  • Director-at-large (3 openings)
  • Nominating committee (2 openings)

The deadline for nominations is May 24.

Please note the following requirements for nomination:
  1. The President-elect shall have served at least one term on the national ANAC board of directors and be a nurse. 
  2. The Secretary and Directors-at-large shall have served at least two years on the national ANAC board of directors or a national committee, editorial board, or in a local chapter as a member of the board of directors.
  3. Nominating committee is open to all members of ANAC who have been voting members of ANAC at the national level for two years immediately prior to nomination. 
  4. Officers and Directors eligible to serve at the national level shall have been voting members at the national level for at least two years immediately prior to assuming office.

As a reminder, ANAC prioritizes diversity in all forms. ANAC's board should represent the depth and scope of our membership. ANAC promotes the inclusion of members with diverse backgrounds, experiences and perspectives in our leadership structure. ANAC members from any discipline who meet the above criteria are invited to consider nomination. However, President-elect is restricted to ANAC nurse members.
